Shelby Kelley was raised on Chuck Jones, Tex Avery, Sunday comics, MAD Magazine and album art.
He is self taught, but remained unfocused until his late-twenties. He chose music over art before learning to fuse the two.

When he’s not fronting the locally popular band ‘Creepin’ Charley and the Boneyard Orchestra’ (www.creepincharley.com) he works as a freelance illustrator out of Indianapolis but still dreams of being a well-known artist.
