"Hiram & Huddie" is a tribute CD to Hank Williams Sr. and Leadbelly. Hillgrass Bluebilly has "Hiram & Huddie" set for release in July, 2008 in support of their first U.S. and north America tour featuring Bob Log III, Scott H. Biram and Possessed By Paul James. Hillgrass Bluebilly Entertainment (HBE) is known for their contributions to American roots music that is alive and touring! HBE's "Hiram & Huddie" is dedicated to bring you the best
touring American roots music artists, with their reflections of the two main influences in Americans roots music of all time, Hank Williams Sr. & Leadbelly.
This album is being followed by "J.R. & R.L.", a double tribute CD to Johnny Cash and R.L. Brunside. It's pretty black & white. "Hiram & Huddie" is not a kareoke CD and it's not a fly-by-night CD with wanked-out / butchered versions of Hank Williams Sr. and Leadbelly. This album is the beginning of the raw and primal roots revolution that has taken the world by storm in the shape of Hillgrass Bluebilly Entertainment.

Bands and Artists include:
Wayne ‘The Train’ Hancock, Possessed By Paul James,
Tom VandenAvond, Bob Log III, Scott H. Biram, C.W. Stoneking, Chili Cold Blood, Reverend Paytons Big Damn Band,
John McKelvy

Ever since I got ‘The Band Of Heathens’ live CD/DVD ‘Live At Antone’s’ I’ve been lookin’ forward to the release of their debut studio CD.  Well the self titled CD is available now.
Is it good?  I think so but don’t just take my word for it. . .
"With their wealth of wonderful tunes, it's easy to see why Texas music great Ray Wylie
Hubbard signed on to produce this fabulous first effort." - Michael Berick,  No Depression.
"If you're an Americana radio station and you don't play this record, then you're not an Americana radio station. The Band of Heathens are, by far, my favorite discovery in the last 2 years." - Mattson Rainer, KNBT.

Fans of the beat poets should certainly check out ‘Cryptic Whalin!’ CD by Wes Race.  Wes was born in Kansas but now lives in Fort Worth, Texas.  He can often be seen at many of the surrounding Blues clubs checkin’ out the local beats and when asked will entertain the crowd with a poem or two.  I was first introduced to Wes way back in 2000.  Over the years I’ve seen him perform a number of
times.  A firm favourite with his many fans is ‘Shot Time’ which is the opening track on this his debut CD.  Wes spreads his wise words to the beat of local musicians including Sumter Bruton, James Hinkle and saxophonist Johnny Reno.
Cryptic Whalin!’ Is available from Amazon.com

If you’re a big fan of the legendary ‘HANK WILLIAMS’ then you should check out the ‘Reinstate Hank’ petition.
‘This petition calls for the reinstatement of Opry legend, and country music star, Hank Williams. Fifty years have passed since the tragic and untimely death of country music's greatest performer, who made his debut at the Grand Ole Opry on June 11th, 1949. A few years later, in 1952, Hiram Hank Williams was asked to leave the Opry -- with the intention that he would sober up and make a return to the stage that he
