On May 31st of 2007 the folks at www.section86.com launched It Burns When I Pee.  The underground/Alt-country podcast is quickly being noticed throughout the inter-net universe.   I.B.W.I.P (as it is affectionately called) has focused on kicking POP-Country in the nuts! Blake Clayton (the host) interviews a different indie artist/band on each show.  They have had the likes of Joey Allcorn, Lonesome Wyatt from Those Poor Bastards, Scott H. Biram, and Wayne "The Train" Hancock on the show.  Each episode includes an interview, tons of great indie music, a comedy skit, and many more surprises.  We also have Jared Morningstar on the show once in a while to give an album review or to read one of his amazing essay's regarding county music. The premise of It Burns When I Pee is to promote music that is real, true to it's roots, and non-commercialized; as opposed to all the music that is being shoved down our throat by corporate Nashville.  Real country music has not died... it has just been banished from the mainstream world.  It Burns When I Pee's purpose is to promote those who have been rejected by Nashville because they aren't pretty enough, or refuse to create songs that just repeat a hook for 2 minutes and 39 seconds, or cater to the 25 to 40 year old women so they will go to their MEGA LIGHTS concerts and buy their CD's at Wal-Mart.  Come join the revolution.  Subscribe to the show and enjoy what REAL country music should sound like.

My favorite podcast period.  If you like real country music download all previous episodes including #11.  You’ll hear great country music like Jake Penrod, Joey Allcorn, Hank 3, Joe Buck and many, many more.  Not to mention the great comedy skits about pop country and awesome interviews with Cats who ain’t afraid to speak their minds.

* It burns, burns, burns when i pee...." best podcast title, best music, best kick in thebeanbag for pop country music. thank you it burns when i pee, for saving me from the radio....most of those jerkoffs probably don’t even know who joe buck, lonesome wyatt, or any of your great interviewees are. And thats a good thing, because their music would likely make them cry and pee their pants....

Welcome to the start of "the new beginning" here at IBWIP. For those of you that survived the wrist splicing of Episode 15. We promise this episode will make up for it. We've cleaned up the stall a little bit and are ready to piss all over your shoes!
We have music by: The Reverend Horton Heat; Spindle P. Hurst; Nickle Creek; The .357 String Band; Stacy Pucket and The One Man Poverty Band; andGary Allen. Ya that's right... I said Gary Allen. We also share with you The Bubba The Love Sponge Show's shitty ass review of our podcast. Hey, we can take a little constructive banter!
There are all new AD's and a VERY special phone call. We have risen from hell and are ready to start giving a little shit back to those who have screwed us over. We wont disappoint you on this episode or ever again! No need to knock on the door. Just open up the stall and join the REVOLUTION!
