3. What would you be if not a musician?
For my degree, I established a fundraising project called The Music For Africa Project which helps primary school children in Embu Kenya. I have already provided the school with musical instruments and have rebuilt a dilapidated class room for them. If I wasnt a musician I would dedicate all my time to my charity project.

4. Career high point so far?
Signing to Ruf Records, playing in America with Sue Foley and Deborah Coleman, and suporting Jools Holland at The Royal Albert Hall.   

5. Perfect night off?   
A bottle of Martini-Asti, chinese takeaway, a good DVD, and snuggling up under a duvet with a fit man. . .Thierry Henry would do nicely - Va va voom!

6. Most recent CD in your CD player?  
Ike and Tina Turner - Bold Soul Sister! Its fantastic - she has suck a sexy voice -
I always love a bit of Tina!

7. Favourite book/film?
I love reading Biographies - my favourites so far have been Martin Luther Kings, Muhammed Ali's, Ray Charles, Curtis Mayfields and Sammy Davis Juniors! I'm really into musicology and the history of black blues and soul music!

8. Whiskey - Jack or Jim?
Neither! I dont drink much but when i do I like a sweet wine, or fruitjuice with Spicy Jamaican Rum! Oooh, or Pimms with my friends if I'm sat on the beach on a sunny day!
