8. Whiskey - Jack or Jim?
Bourbon and me don't mix since I was 16 at a party. There was Ice cream floating in the punch so I got a glass full and drank it down.  It was straight Jim Beam, well felt straight to me...They'd put icecream in a punch bowl full of Jim Beam.  All I remember was the burning in my mouth and throat, not being able to breathe, coughing, spluttering, gagging and finally the party piece getting sick in the yard...I thought that is bad stuff...Jim Beam has not passed my lips since...
Used to drink a lot of Irish whiskey when I was married to Spider from the Pogues...(Tip: don't ask for Irish whiskey when you're in Scotland, they get really offended...), but gave that up after an unfortunate incident involving a big tv in the hotel bar in Liverpool resulting in us being barred...Whiskey makes me mean, and I'd rather be sweet...
