NAME: Brooklyn Babydoll
BASED IN: Brooklyn, New York
1. How did you get started in Pin-Up modeling?
I kind of fell into it, people always told me I looked like Bettie Page, and encouraged me to take pictures. When I met my great friend Greg Theakston, who published The Betty Pages and Tease Magazine, I did my first shoot. I credit him for "creating the monster".
2. Who (if any) were the models who influenced you the most?
I love Bettie Page’s fetish photos....the ones that started all the trouble. Even though she is being photographed as a "Damsel In Distress", you can see in her eyes that she is highly amused, she has her own private joke. When I am photographed in a similar manner, I cannot stop laughing!!
3. Who is your favourite model of all time? (apart from yourself of course)
Suzy Parker (Coco Chanel’s muse in the 1950s)
4. What are your favourite styles of music?
Any thing that will make me want to get up and shake shake shake my heiny.
5. What would you be if not a Pin-Up model?
I would be a bounty hunter by day, and a go go dancer by night...
6. What's the best thing about being a Pin-Up model?
Doing shoots with themes, like my recent tribute to Valentines Day, entitled ‘Love Kills’
7. Do you have a favoutite type of outfit you like to model?
My birthday suit. . .
8. Whiskey - Jack or Jim?
Spumante. Brown liquor can cause me to commit felonies.
